How to Get that Great Body for Busy Women

You’ve probably planned on hitting the gym today but what with the phone calls that you need to make, groceries to purchase, dozens of household chores to finish, it’s most likely that your energy level is already dwindling to the point that you just can’t make yourself head to the gym anymore. This is not surprising given that everyone is busy these days.

However, just because you’re busy it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be able to keep a fit and good looking body. Here are a few ways on how you’ll be able to stay great even if you have a very busy schedule.

Do it in the morning

Working out as early as possible enables you to stay focused on keeping yourself fit since there are few distractions to bother you. If you don’t consider yourself as a morning person, make a little effort in getting out of bed earlier. This may be hard at first but you’ll get used to it.

Eat the right food

The best way to get yourself to work out is to have enough fuel in your body. You can do this by eating the right types of food like vegetables, meat, whole grains, fish, and even fruits. This way, your body will function more and you’ll have enough energy to exercise.

Focus on specific muscle groups

According to Jonathan Ross from the Aion Fitness in Maryland, focusing on your larger muscles is a good way to strengthen your body. These four exercises, namely planks, squats, push ups, and lunges, target problem areas in your body. Do these exercises in a circuit and without any pauses in between for 3 to 4 times.

Change your workouts.

Doing the same workouts over and over again won’t challenge your body. Try integrating different routines so that your body becomes more challenged, more flexible, and stronger.

Follow the 20 minute rule

If you can’t spend time in the gym, do exercises that are of the same intensity. For example, do interval training when you’re out and about like sprinting for a few seconds before slowing down for 2 to 3 minutes then sprint again. Don’t forget to warm up first so you won’t injure yourself. Repeat this exercise for a few times to start burning fats.

Meet without consuming calories

It’s not unusual to go out with friends from time to time but instead of meeting to eat calories, why not burn them instead? Invite your friend to go for a hike, walk, or bike around the park. You can even do ice skating if you like. Just get yourself moving to burn calories not add to them.
Who said that just because you’re busy, you won’t be able to maintain a fit and fab body? It’s all about using what time you have to do some intense training to help your body burn those excess calories fast. Try following the tips mentioned above and see some improvement over the next few weeks.
